I’ve really been enjoying the changing colors of fall and finally started taking some pictures a few days ago. Now, everywhere I go, I’m searching for trees that are accessible for photo taking.
I wish I had more time, a better camera, and some training to better capture the beauty I have seen….

jim,
THESE ARE GREAT! i don’t know what you’re talking about, that they’re probably not very good from an artistic standpoint, they’re amazing! you’re very good at getting great shots; i particularly like how most of them are framed so that they’re just one big field of color. just beautiful!
i’m totally wowed!

Thanks Jo. I’m glad you like the pictures too. I like them, but as you can see, my repertoire is fairly limited. As long as there are nice colors, interesting shapes, decent lighting, etc., I can point and click. I guess the fun of it for me is looking for things that I think will look neat in a picture and then trying to capture it.

Very nice! I love your photos, especially the one near Timpanogos cave. Our family enjoys taking fall pictures too. It’s got to be the most beautiful time of the year. I live in Nova Scotia Canada and the colors here in early October are so vibrant it’s breath taking.

Kent, thanks for visiting my blog- glad you liked the pictures. I would love to see Nova Scotia some day. Have you posted any photos on your blog?
Ray, thank you too. I have a few more and hope to take some this week that I’ll post soon.
It is interesting that the more you look for beauty, the more you find. I think a lot of what we experience really depends on our own frame of mind and what we look for.
