Mormon Humor.  After reading these, some might say that I’m using that term extremely loosely, but here are some things that I have found humorous.

My son had just had his wisdom teeth out at the beginning of the month.  He was concerned about fasting.  Since he had so little to eat and drink on Friday and Saturday, we didn’t think it would be wise for him to fast as he normally would on Sunday.  I told him he had a “fast pass.”  (You would have to be familiar with Disneyland to find the humor….)

While serving as ward clerk, I would often hand deliver reimbursement checks to people in the ward that had incurred various expenses for activities.  One Sunday our home teachers were over, and as they were leaving, I said, “Hold on, let me get this check for you.”  I handed the check to our home teacher, and they left.  When the door closed, my daughter said, “I didn’t know that you got paid for home teaching!”  Not a bad idea- I bet the visits would increase.

One night my daughter said, “Where’s Mom?”  I said, “She went to Enrichment Meeting.”  She thought I said “In Richmond meeting,” so she asked, “Why can’t they have the meeting here (in our town)?”  We all had a good laugh.
